Kalderos is proud to be honored by Built In as one of Chicago’s 2023 “Best Places to Work” and “Startups to Work For.” The Built In annual awards program recognizes companies of all sizes, from startups to those in the enterprise, and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in large tech markets across the United States.
We are very honored to be ranked as one of Chicago’s Best Workplaces for the fourth consecutive year. As an organization, we are deeply committed to our employees’ well-being, growth and success. This takes more intentional focus as a remote-first workforce, and we see the impact every day in the quality of work and collaboration across each team. We very much operate under the guiding principle of Go Farther Together!

Kalderos continues to enjoy financial and customer growth and an expanding footprint in the drug discount space for its technology-enabled Drug Discount Management solutions. We more than doubled our revenue in 2022 while growing our team by 65%. Our investment in a new chief people officer as well as a director of talent acquisition is a manifestation of our rapid growth and pledge to build and maintain our culture and workforce as we scale over the next few years.
Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation and benefits. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.
“It’s my honor to congratulate this year’s Best Places to Work winners,” said Sheridan Orr, chief marketing officer of Built In. “These exemplary companies understand their people are their most valuable asset, and they’ve stepped up to meet the modern professional’s new expectations, including the desire to work for companies that deliver purpose, growth and inclusion. These winners set the stage for a human-centered future of work, and we can’t wait to see that future unfold.”
The culture at Kalderos is as important as the business strategy. As a forward-thinking company, we place a high value on fostering an innovative, engaging and rewarding workplace, where employees are empowered to contribute, strengthen and support one another in times of challenge or change.
We believe in promoting a healthy lifestyle for our hybrid workforce, in which our employees may choose a “mode” of work — fully remote, a few days a month or a few days a week in the office.
