2016

Kalderos founded

In July, we launched our first product prototype, a tool called Grappa that enabled cover entities to easily review claims.

Later that year, we began developing an AI algorithm that would learn from covered entities’ responses to grow smarter over time.

2017

Proof of impact

We onboarded our first manufacturer customer.

We launched a pilot program for covered entities to better understand how Grappa could work for them and identified our first verified duplicate discount.

By November, we’d reached our first million dollars of verified duplicate discounts acknowledged and credited by states.

2018

New offices in Chicago and Brookfield

The Wisconsin contingent moved from a founder’s basement to our office in Brookfield.

Our growing Chicago team moved to a bigger WeWork office at 330 N. Wabash.

2019

Series A and building the team

With a successful Series A funding round, we raised $7 million to begin turning our vision for the company into reality and grow the Chicago team by a factor of four.

The Chicago office moved to the current Kalderos headquarters at 625 W. Adams.

2020

Series B and improved product suite

A new and improved Grappa became the Review tool, and we reached 3,000 covered entities.

We closed Series B funding with a $28 million raise from Bain Capital and Mercato Partners.

2021

Improved infrastructure and building momentum

We solidified our technical infrastructure with robust enhancements to the data platform, enabling us to launch an expanded version of our Verify tool for drug manufacturers.

By the end of the year, we doubled our customer count and tripled sales.

2022

A moment of dramatic growth

Health tech veteran Brent Dover joined Kalderos as CEO, overseeing a continued rapid growth trajectory.

We launched Kalderos for Covered Entities, with flagship solution Discount Hub.

Our team grew by 65%.

2023

Looking ahead

Kalderos for Manufacturers launches in February with MDRP Discount Monitoring, Commercial Discount Monitoring and 340B Pay solutions.

We continue to scale the team, rapidly expanding product, engineering and customer success to deliver on surging demand.
